This framed print depicts Marie Taglioni in the ballet La Sylphide. The print is based on a drawing by Alfred Edward Chalon (Switzerland, 1780-1860) and the original lithograph is by J. S. Templeton. The original is from 1832, but I stress that this is a copy and not an original lithograph.
The frame measures 11" x 9". Please note that the backing, although in place, is not tight since the backing is thicker than the metal hinges can accommodate. Also, the frame does have wear, as shown in the photos. Do let me know if you would like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige.
