This shooting star brooch has a safety style catch, which looks a bit like a safety pin. It is of an unknown metal and rhinestones. Dimensions are 1 ¼" in length and ⅝" at its widest.
Based on the catch, I estimate this brooch is circa 1920s-1930s.
