Antique, Circa 1860s, French Engraving- "Le Marchand de Coco"

$35.00

This antique, French engraving depicting a seller of cocoa (as in beverage) is from an 1868 issue of Magasin Pittoresque. There is a penciled "1868" in the upper right corner of the page.

The page does not lie completely flat but will flatten out if placed under a book for a time. There is also a mark to the right of the merchant, a dark spot on the page. Finally, there is a bit of discoloration to the entire page. Please let me know if you would like more photographs as I will be happy to oblige.

Dimensions of the entire page are 11.5" x 7.75". The engraving, which takes up a smaller space, could be removed/cut from the page if preferred.

Thank you for looking.
