This antique French engraving of two women by the seaside with what appear to be a net and basket is possibly by Jean Laronze. I estimate it to be circa late 1800s.
It is in need of restoration as the glass appears to have once been held by glue to the cardboard onto which the engraving is affixed, but it is now removable and no longer attached.
The hanger appears to be leather, as well as the border around the glass. Do let me know if you would like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige.
The piece could be displayed as is without repairs being made in a small tabletop easel.
The entire piece measures 6.25" x 4.5".
