This antique, French, First Communion canivet measures 4 ⅛" x 2 ½" and is circa late 1800s. Please examine the second photo closely as there is a creased area to the edge in the upper right corner of the canivet. Last, there is a small missing piece of the outside edge of the border along the left side
The front reads, in translation, "Finally, the big day has arrived!"
