This antique, French engraving features seashells and is from an 1867 issue of Magasin Pittoresque.
The entire piece measures 11 ½" x 7 ½". The area where the actual engraving is situated is 5 ¾" x 5 ¼".
Please examine the photographs carefully as there is significant creasing to the face of the engraving and the sheet overall as well as some foxing and brown staining along the edges of the sheet. I have not tried to flatten out the creases. Please let me know if you would like more photographs as I'll be happy to oblige.
Please note there is a penciled "1867" in the upper right hand corner.
