Ex Voto Sacred Heart, from Italy

This Sacred Heart ex voto is from Italy. It is of indeterminate age and measures almost 2" x almost 1.5". There is considerable pitting to the surface of the metal. Please use the zoom function to examine the photos and do let me know if you'd like more as I'll be happy to oblige. There are remnants of worn red string and a hook on the back and something that looks like red wax but I am not certain and have made no attempt to clean the ex voto.
