This antique guide for Versailles is circa 1920 and in French. There are numerous black and white illustrations and photographs throughout. 140 pages. The guide covers the history of Versailles, monuments, history of the gardens, and Petit and Grand Trianons. Also, there is a section on modes of transportation while sightseeing- on foot, by horse, bicycle, car, and air. The last section has information on local attractions, sports, and travel in Versailles, and helpful addresses.
CONDITION: Soft cover with wear and fading along with wrinkling and a dog-eared edge to the pastedown illustration on the cover. The book is completely shaken from the spine so that the book itself is not attached to the cover. There is a dark pencil mark on page 15 as seen in the sixth photo, some foxing and brown staining on pages, dog-earing of pages, slight tearing as seen in the seventh photo, and creasing of the pages.
