This set of three French chromolithographs depicts clowns advertising menswear. The seller, Cauzeret, operated in the area of the Eiffel Tower as well as Chalon-sur-Saône. The cards are circa early 1900s.
Dimensions of each card are 3 ⅞" x 2 ½".
The chromos have various degrees of wear in the way of soiling to the face of the cards as well as edge wear with the most notable being the small tear at the bottom toward the left on the card in the first photo and an even smaller tear to the right of the clown’s shoe on his standing leg.
Do let me know if you would like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige.
Please note the price is for the set, all three of the chromos.
