This bentwood, handmade box of indeterminate age has the attributes of a Shaker box save for the missing swallowtails so I will not definitively say this was made by the Shakers. It does, however, have the copper fasteners and is painted with traditional Shaker colors like blue, red, green, and yellow. It also has a name penciled in the interior of the lid, which was often done by either the maker or the person who used the box.
Measure mets are 6.5" x 4.25" x 1 ½" (depth).
Your box will be sent fully insured via USPS Priority Mail.
