These two French Limoges, shabby chic salad plates measure 7.5" in diameter and are sold as a pair.
** PLEASE examine the last photo showing a chip, perhaps 1/16" or even 1/32" that is not noticeable unless one uses a loupe or runs a finger around the edge (as it's a rough area). Also, there is wear to the gold edging around each plate's rim. If you would like more photos, do let me know as I'll be happy to oblige.

The back marks are the Martial mark in red, which represents the
Elite Works, St. Martial, France, Limoges 1920 - 1932 decoration mark and the green Elite L France 1896 - 1920 mark. So, the plates are circa 1920 based on both of the back marks together.
According to the aforementioned site, "Bawo & Dotter was a New York company established in 1860s to import porcelain mainly from Limoges. In 1870s they established in Limoges a porcelain decorating manufactory called The Elite Works."
From 1914-1918, production ceased owing to World War but began again after the end of the war.
