This stereoscope has a patent date of June 14, 1881.
Underwood and Underwood Sun Sculpture stereoscopes were made to view the special identical two image cards- stereoscopics or stereo views. I am including three stereo views, which appear to be part of a series.
This stereoscope is comprised of wood and aluminum, and the Underwood and Underwood logo with Sun Sculpture and trademark appear on the metal viewer portion. The handle is intact.
Please note there is wear and scratching to the metal and wood. If you would like more photographs, don't hesitate to ask.
