This vintage French pendant is known as Trompette de la Renommée- Trumpet of Fame. It depicts an angel blowing a trumpet, which, of course, has myriad Biblical references. I was informed that this piece is bronze, but I am more inclined to think it is of copper. I do not see a hallmark or maker's mark.
The pendant measures ⅞" and has another ring attached to the bale.
*Please note there is wear and discoloration to the face and back of the medal, respectively.
