This antique French cabinet card depicts a French Hussar, circa late 1800s. The photograph is hand-colored/tinted to showcase the blue of the young soldier's uniform and the pink of the roses.
The photo was taken by Laveuve of Verdun.
Dimensions are 6.75" x 4.25".
There is wear to the card commensurate with age, but it is in overall very good condition.
