Vintage, Possibly Antique Vanity Tray with Wooden Frame, Mirror and Courtship Scene

Sorry, this item has sold.

This vanity tray is framed in wood with a different pattern carved into the wood on each side. Measurements are 10" x 7 1/4" x 1/2".

I do believe this tray is an antique, perhaps from the early 1900s, but I cannot be certain.

The mirror has considerable condition issues as it has spots, rippling, and a yellowish tint. It is difficult to show these blemishes in a photo, but if you need more photos of the mirror's condition or of any other aspects of the tray, do let me know and I'll be happy to oblige.

The print on the other side is bordered by what appears to be black paint on the reverse of the glass. The black painted area has areas of wear where the paint appears to be missing on the underside of the glass. The print, depicting a 1700s courtship scene, is framed within an oval and has a rudimentarily drawn gold oval surrounding it.

The wood frame has scratches and some chipping. Nails can be seen upon close inspection. Again, do let me know if you would like more photos.

Thank you for looking.
