This hallmarked sterling and yellow amber brooch also has an unidentifiable mark and the mark RJ in an oval, which I believe is the maker's mark for R. Jordan, a London silversmith who was first registered in 1902 and last registered in 1916 in Birmingham.
Dimensions are 2 1/8" x 5/8.
I've not cleaned the silver but will leave this up to the discretion of the new owner. The C clasp closure works well, and the amber has much sought after insect debris.
