Antique, 1827 Hand-Colored Etching of French Dress from Le Journal des Dames et des Modes

This French, Georgian era etching is from an 1827 edition of Le Journal des Dames et des Modes. It is hand-colored and depicts a hairstyle and dress of that era. The translation of the French description is: Crepe hat garnished with marabou and flowers. Frock coat from Naples trimmed with bows. Printed gloves

Dimensions are 8" x 5".

The etching itself is in very good condition, but the edges of the paper have tears and creasing. There is a superficial tear (less than 1/4") at the lower left hand edge of the etching. There is some discoloration to the print.
