Antique, 1827 Hand-Colored Etching of French Dress from Le Journal des Dames et des Modes

This French, Georgian era etching is from an 1827 edition of Le Journal des Dames et des Modes. It is hand-colored and depicts a hairstyle and dress of that era. The translation of the French description is: Gauze hood decorated with ribbons and flowers. Tulle Canezou dress from Naples.

Dimensions are 8" x 5".

The etching itself is in very good condition, but the edges of the paper have tears and creasing. Also, there is faint creasing to the right of the woman's left arm.
