Antique, 1828 Hand-Colored Etching of French Dress from Le Journal des Dames et des Modes
This French, Georgian era etching is from an 1828 edition of Le Journal des Dames et des Modes. It is hand-colored and depicts a hairstyle and dress of that era. The translation of the French description is: Hairstyle by M. Mulot. Gauze dress trimmed with burgundy bands of blonde.
Dimensions are 8" x 5".
The etching itself is in very good condition, but the edges of the paper have tears and creasing. There is also a smudge below "Mulot."
