This framed, delicate and detailed, French embroidered floral motif is 7" x 5 1/4" in its frame.
Condition: Please note in the lower right hand corner of the embroidered piece a small area of missing embroidery and/or linen. Also, please note the mat along the length, left and right sides, as it is buckling. The frame also has wear to it along the inner edges, on the corners, and on the bottom toward the left where there is a 1/4" chip. This is not readily apparent when the frame is hung or displayed upright. Do let me know if you would like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige.
I don't have a definite date for this piece, but I am estimating it is antique, possibly late 1800s, early 1900s.
