Place du Tertre (Montmartre) Watercolor and Ink

This framed watercolor and ink is of the Place du Tertre, an area of Paris' Montmartre neighborhood. The domes of Sacré Cœur are visible in the background. The painting is in excellent condition, but the mat around the watercolor has staining and fading. I'm leaving it up to the discretion of the new owner if they wish to re-mat the painting or leave as is. I estimate this to be circa 1950s. The artist's signature is illegible.

CONDITION OF FRAME: The frame measures 13 1/4" x 11 3/4". It does have areas of wear, some of which can be seen in the photographs. There are areas where the gilt has worn off and the wood shows through. This is damage to the frame as if it were bumped or knocked against something. Please don't hesitate to ask for more photographs to see more specific areas of the frame.
