Antique engraving with hand coloring, circa early 1800s, drawn by A.M. Perrot and engraved by Blanchard. Please note areas of browning to the engraving as a whole and areas of wear on frame's edges. Please do let me know if you'd like more photographs as I'll be happy to oblige. Frame measures 8" x 6.25". Mat opening measures 5.25" x 3.50".
In the lower left corner of the engraving, there are four names of notable authors who were residents of the Aisne region of Northern France: Racine, Condorcet, La Fontaine, and Demoustier.
