This watch fob to be worn on a belt has a patent date on the back listed as Dec. 4, 1923. "Silverplate" also appears on the back.
The surface with the "M" monogram has scratches and some soiling. I will leave the polishing up to the new owner's discretion.
The back portion that would rest behind the belt (Please refer to this ad from Hickok to see how such a fob was used: http://blog.dancestore.com/index.php/2014/07/09/1923-hickok-belts-ad/) has two ripples in it. I am not certain if these were part of the manufacturing or if they occurred during the use of this fob.
The chain has a floral motif, and the clip does have some tarnish. The clip also has the manufacturer, Hayward, on it but only "Haywa" is visible.
Fob measures 8 1/4" in length from the monogrammed portion to the clip at the end of the chain. Monogrammed portion measures 1 1/2" x 1/2".
