Vintage Marcasite and Cameo Ring

This 7.5 size ring has a band marked sterling, which can be seen in the fourth photo. Much of the word is not visible, but the "ing" is discernible. The cameo is attractively carved and the marcasites bordering the area surrounding the cameo are 10 in number and intact.

Please note, though, that two of the marcasites, when examined with a 10x loupe show signs of damage in the way of chipping and a crack. The stones still look intact and appear in no danger of falling out, and these flaws are not visible unaided.
