This vintage mechanical valentine is circa 1930s, in my estimation. The child's hand can be moved up or down to produce two different eye expressions and a rabbit pulled out of the hat and placed back into the hat. Care must be taken when operating this mechanism
The dimensions are 6.5" x 5" at its widest.
The bottom left hand side has a number and Made in U.S.A. I've seen a similar valentine attributed to German manufacture.
Please note the most prominent creases-- two across the child's clothing and another on the wrist of the outstretched arm. Also, there is a whitish mark on the bottom left of the tablecloth.
There is a slit at the bottom of the card for display, but there is no other piece accompanying this card that would allow it to stand.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I'm so happy that I bought this cutie! I actually saw it a couple of years ago, but then when I went to purchase it, I couldn't find it for the life of me! I even went into my favorites items/shops but to no avail! When I found it again I was over the moon!
