Model E, Sawyer, 3-Dimension, Bakelite View-Master with Mother Goose and Peter Pan Reels, Production Era 1955-1960

The Sawyers View-Master Model E (#2015) was produced between 1955 and 1961 and was the replacement for the Model C. It was made from bakelite. This viewer is very easy to find and was made by Sawyers in the USA, Belgium, France, India and Australia. Sawyers also manufactured a light attachment (#2051) for this model of viewer. It ran from two 'D' size batteries and worked very well although it was withdrawn from sale a year before the viewer went out of production.

This View-Master Includes three reels of each: Peter Pan and Mother Goose, copyright 1950 and 1957, respectively. Images are three dimensional. The Mother Goose folio has a Wonders of the World title. The Peter Pan folio has a taped picture of Peter and Captain Hook.

Also included are two of the same pamphlet showing a reel list of three dimensional color pictures.

The viewer comes in its original box, which has considerable wear. The viewer also has some wear, particularly around the eyepieces, but works fine. Please let me know if you'd like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige. The characteristic Bakelite odor is present when the material is rubbed vigorously.
