Pratts Poultry Pointers Antique Book

This antique Pratts Poultry Pointers is considered of historical significance with respect to the information it imparted on poultry farming in the late 1800s. The initial copyright was 1895, and this edition is from 1901. The volume contains 141 pages, black and white illustrations throughout, a table of contents, and an index.

Please note the condition issues as follows. Front and back covers as well as the spine have considerable chipping, wear, tears, and folds. A portion of the outer spine is missing. There is damage to the inside cover where the material holding it together has begun to peel back on the lower half. The title page has pencil marks. Some smudges and light foxing appear throughout. A 3/4" tear appears at the bottom of page 53. The last page of the index is torn at the top but still intact. The back cover has a tear at the top and a considerable crease down the center. Some light dog-earing of pages throughout.
