This antique brown-glazed majolica tile was produced by Craven Dunnill. The company has been in operation since 1872, and I'm estimating this tile as being from the late 1800s.

The tile measures 4 3/16" square with 1/2" thickness. The back is marked with the company name and Jackfield, the village in Shropshire where the company exists.

Please note the condition issues in the form of crazing and small chips to the surface of the tile with the largest being on the tile's edge as shown isolated in the third photo. I've shown each quadrant of the tile in the next photos, and do let me know if you'd like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige. I've made no attempt to clean the tile but will leave this up to its new owner.
