This vintage mechanical valentine card was printed in Germany (Please see lower left area of card to the left of the boy's shoe.) Based on the usage of "Printed in Germany" as well as the boy's and girl's clothing, I am dating this card as being circa 1930s.
The card does have some edge wear but is in generally good condition. Please examine the photos and do ask if you'd like more as I'll be happy to oblige.
Dimensions when closed are 6.75" x 5" at its widest. The top of the umbrella opens up and out to reveal a surprised boy and girl. There is a strip of card stock on the back meant to prop the card up for display but years of use have weakened it, and it does not stand on its own. One could reinforce this piece so that the card will stand alone. There is writing on the back of the card.
