Sorry, this item has sold.

I'm dating these Sno-ski Skates as being circa 1950s, based on the box graphics. While they are certainly considered vintage, I do not know the date of production of these particular skates.

Snoskates were first commercially produced in the 1930s in Germany but were invented in the 1860s in the Netherlands and were originally made of wood.

These skates were produced by the Arco Skates Tye-Dee Corporation of Marathon, New York and the box states they're for children ages 2 through 10 years. The box has considerable wear and damage. The skates have wear, especially on the bottoms, but I believe they're in good condition and usable. Alternately, they can be used just for decor as seen in the second photo.

The adjustable portion is the heel portion, which has six holes that will make the area in which a boot is placed larger or smaller as needed.

The measurements are 12" from the curved front to the back. The area in which a boot would be placed measures 9.25" from the toe to the heel guard when the heel portion is in the furthest hole. This would be the largest measurement. The width of the skis is 3" at their widest and 2.25" at their narrowest. The width of the toe portion is 2.75" at midpoint, and the heel width measures 2" at midpoint.

The Sno-ski Skates will be sent outside of the box, but the box will be included in the package. This is to prevent further degradation of the box.

Thank you for looking.
