This Tibetan Buddhist thangka of White Tara was purchased in Tibet. It is painted in rich colors with gold paint embellishments. It is unmounted and is the deity painted on material, more than likely cotton or a cotton blend. Usually, the painting is mounted on brocade that is then hung, but this thangka was framed as is. The glass in the frame broke, so I removed the thangka but kept the foam core board behind it.
Measurements are a tad shy of 11 3/4" x 9 1/4". Please note the areas of wear on the painting where white shows through, particularly around the red border. Do let me know if you'd like more photographs as I'll be happy to oblige.
Your thangka will be sent fully insured via Priority Mail.
