Sterling Crucifix by Creed

This crucifix is marked with "sterling" and the manufacturer's name, Creed. It measures almost 2" from the end to the bail and 1 1/8" across. Weight is .3 of an ounce. There is a ring attached at the bail that I do believe is not original to the crucifix, but I cannot be certain.

William Creed began his own business after WWII after selling for other jewelry firms for almost 10 years in New England. His son Jack took over the business when he became ill. All sterling pieces are individually die struck from a solid bar of silver.
