This vintage chrome carafe has a glass liner that is intact. It has "Hotel Commodore, New York" engraved on the front, and it is approximately 6.5" from the extended lip to the base.
This carafe is probably circa 1950s but I cannot be certain. The Commodore ceased to exist in the 1970s and was razed, rebuilt and replaced by the Grand Hyatt in the 1980s.
The chrome does have some wear and some discoloration as shown in the sixth photo around the hinges of the lid, but other than these issues, the carafe is in very good condition for its age.
