This ribbed glass bottle or jar with metal lid is circa 1930s and may've been used as a piece on the vanity or perhaps in a train case. It is 6.25" in length, not measuring the lid, and 1.25" across the opening of the bottle.
I've washed the bottle out with warm soapy water, but there remains a residue as well as some scratches. Do let me know if you'd like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige.
There is one fleabite on the edge of the bottle lip, as seen in photo six, and the lid does have a pronounced as well as a smaller indentation.
Please note that the blue reflection, as seen in particular in the first and last photos, is from the wall behind the bottle and not within the glass bottle.
Thank you for looking.
