This antique flocked postcard survived the tests of time with minimal wear to the front although it was placed in a scrapbook at one time as the second photo attests to.
The only blemish on the front, aside from edge wear and a bit of dog-earing is the foxing on the bird's upper wing tip.
Interesting to note is the signature on the front of the card, a leftover from the days of the front of the cards bearing a message and/or signature and the back used for the address. This is a divided back (Winsch) card so it's a bit later production-wise (still early 1900s). Perhaps the sender forgot she had room enough on the back to write her message as well as the address?
