I believe this could very well be an antique. It is a wooden doll used to hold pins and tiny spools of thread. There are two pins nicer than the others, one that looks like a peace lily and another like a pearl. Although both have pearlized lusters, I do not believe they're made from sea or freshwater pearls.

If you look at the wooden basket making tools, the piece on the right looks as if it could comprise such a doll as I have listed here. Could this be made by American Indians? It is a mystery!
