This antique photo folio is more than likely from the late 1800s. The cabinet cards are definitely from the 1800s, but I am not certain if they are original to the folio or if someone placed them there at a later date. I don't know if the subjects are related to each other, either.
I believe the folio is leather, but it is in poor condition on the exterior and should be considered as being fragile. The interior, however, is lined with a silk moire in good condition.
The photos come with the folio, which is 7" x 5" when closed and 21 7/8" when opened fully.
