I'm not certain of the age of this metal, vintage, pocket shrine from Belgium, but I've seen similar shrines attributed to WWI or WWII. Dimensions of the case are approximately 1 ¼" x ½", and the saint figure measures 1 ⅛" x ⅜" across the base.
The case opens to reveal Saint Hubert of Liège, patron saint of hunters, mathematicians, opticians, and metalworkers.
***** Condition: The red plastic that provides the "window" on the front of the case has wear and scratches. The case has significant wear, including rust, on the front and back but opens and closes without a problem.
