This novel, copyrighted in 1926 by J.B. Lippincott Company, was published by Grosset & Dunlap. Grace Livingstone Hill, author of numerous other works, wrote Coming Through the Rye, a romance and mystery story.

The book is in very good condition with a fairly tight binding and minimal edge wear. The dust jacket is in fair condition with chipping and tears along the edges. There are 348 pages with four pages of ads after the last page of the novel and ads and other books listed on the flaps and inside of the dust jacket.

The name Marguerite L. Wagner with "Christmas 1928" is inked in cursive on the inside page facing the inside front cover. The inside back cover has what look to be penciled initials with a check mark underneath these initials in the upper left hand corner.
