This 15.75" x 12.75" original print from the scarce 1912 publication of Dashing Stage Beauties of the World is of Ida Schnall. There is significant edge wear, as shown in the photographs, but the print itself of Schnall is in very good condition.
**Please note that this is not a reproduction but an original print.
Miss Schnall was actually a member of the baseball club- The New York Female Giants.
She also:
won the grand prize at the San Francisco Exhibition of 1915 for being “the most beautifully formed woman in America."
won the women’s bicycle race from New York to Philadelphia.
starred in the now lost film Undine, in which she dove off a 135-foot cliff in the Channel Islands off California.
starred in Al Jolson’s revue, The Passing Show of 1912, where her fancy diving in the harem scene won her plaudits.
