Humpty Dumpty Cloth Doll, Circa 1940s

This soft fabric Humpty Dumpty doll with embroidered features is circa 1940s and 15" in height. The pattern from which to make this doll is from the 1940s, and the materials and wear of this doll date it as being circa 1940s. These dolls were handmade and not mass produced. If you look up this type of doll, you'll see varying features and different clothing/material used in his creation.

Humpty's black tie/bow is attached on one side and loose on the other, as seen in the first photo. In the last photo, I've tied the bow. Humpty also has some staining owing to his age. These appear to be climate related stains.
