Art Deco Era Paper Clip/Receipt Holder

This Art Deco era paper clip/receipt holder is probably circa 1930s although it could be a bit earlier or later. More than likely, this hung in a shop as evidenced by the metal loop hanger.

There is some rust on the clip, and the wood piece does have scratching and paint. Please examine photos carefully and do let me know if you require more. I'll be happy to oblige.

Measurements of the wooden piece onto which the clip is mounted are 3 ⅝" x 2 ⅛" x ¼".

The clip's spring works well and securely holds papers in place.
