RESERVED For J: Limited Edition 1965-1966 Steiff FAO Schwarz Standing Beagle with Open Mouth
This particular limited edition mohair beagle was produced between 1965 and 1966, but he does not have an ear button. When I first listed this beagle, I read somewhere that he was issued without the classic button in the ear, but now I cannot find anything about this.
He is in very good condition and has his red collar although the red wooden FAO Schwarz tag that usually accompanies him is missing. His eyes are glass and his nose is embroidered.
Measurements are approximately 6.5" from his rump to his snout and 6" from the top of his head to one of his front paws. He is 2.3 ounces.
