The Poetical Works of Jean Ingelow, Published by Roberts Brothers, Boston, 1880

This book, by minor British poet Jean Ingelow (1820-1897), would be considered a binding copy as the pages are in good condition, but the binding is poor. The missing spine has been papered over.

172 pages. Chipped boards. Edge worn. Some foxing. Small (half inch) piece of the page is torn out and missing on lower right hand of page 49. Very slight dog-earing of some pages. Facsimile of signature (Sincerely yours Jean Ingelow.) in frontispiece with engraved portrait of author. Several small engravings are contained within the book. Penciled writing on the first two blank front pages preceding the frontispiece. One says "M.S.H. from. G.Y.H. -" The other reads "75 [illegible] gilt Edge 100" with the 75 and 100 underlined.
