Antique Book, Snowflake Stories by Laurie Loring with Engravings, 1890, Published by Syndicate Trading Company of New York

Snowflake Stories is a 26 page book by Laurie Loring and Published by Syndicate Trading Company. It is copyrighted 1890 and has a name written in cursive pencil on the top of the title page.

The book binding is in fair condition with wear on the front and back and spine. Pages are in good condition, firmly intact and with minimal wear and some slight dog-earing. There is an engraving on the back of the front cover facing the title page and other engravings throughout- some headpieces and some full page. All engravings are very detailed. One engraving is signed N. Orr N.V. There are a few others that appear to be signed, but it's very difficult to discern the signatures, even with a loupe. The illustration on the front and back covers of the book is identical and in color.

Short stories include "Beppo and Ponto," "Patient Eva," "The Puzzle," "Gussy's Advice," "The Ruined Castle," "The First Snow-Storm," "Eskimau Dogs," "Robin and the Cherries," and "Baby Jessie." *The spelling of Eskimo is not a misprint but how it was once spelled.

There are also poems: "The Moon" and "Carol Singers."
