This French enamel, lidded jar has "Poivre" (pepper) stenciled on the front. It measures 9 ⅛" circumference, 2 ½" across the underside, approximately 3 ¼" deep, and 3" across the jar's mouth. I estimate this as being circa 1930s.
*****Condition: Please note that this jear has extensive wear in the form of scratches, enamel loss in the form of chips, cracks, rust, discoloration, and a small indent below the "p" and "o." Please examine all photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige. Also, I would not use this for food but only for decor.
Thank you for looking.
