This box is from a pharmacy in Namur, Belgium. The pharmacy Mélard and Leloux operated between the 1890s and 1920s so I am dating this box conservatively as being circa 1920s. The handwritten prescription translates to "3 per day." Dimensions are 2.5" across with a depth of 1".
*****Condition: Please note box has extensive soiling and wear both on the exterior lid and underside and also within the interior. There is a peeled back bit of the paper trim around the outer edge that I have not attempted to affix more securely as I will leave this up to the discretion of the new owner. Please examine all photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
Thank you for looking.
