This cherub pendant, (with the cherub reminiscent of Raphael's winged being), is a pendant from France with no markings that I can discern. I thought it was perhaps gold-plated, but there is no mark, and France requires such items to be marked as such, whether it be gold, gold-filled, gold-plated, or vermeil. There are marks on the bale, but upon close examination with my loupe, they look like tool marks from the bale's closure.
This pendant measures 11/16", not including the bale.
*****Condition: Please note the pendant has wear to the front and reverse with the most extensive wear to the front. Please examine the photos closely and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
