This very rare, antique pendant with iridescent beetle and flora (possibly a species of moss) specimens encased in glass is from the Victorian era (1837-1901), probably more toward the late 1800s. During this time period, women wore jewelry featuring flora and fauna, and some even wore live insects.
The pendant is surrounded by a metal (probably brass) rim and includes a bale. Dimensions are 1", not including the bale.
*****Condition: Glass is in good condition. Beetle and flora look to be well preserved. Metal shows signs of discoloration. Please examine all photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
Your pendant will be fully insured and sent via Priority Mail.
