This pair of leather button-up doll boots is circa late 1800s. They are modeled by my Armand Marseille bisque and composition doll. The doll measures 22.5" in height, and the sole of her foot measures 2.25" in length. The leather boot sole measures 3.5" in length. The dimensions from the edge of the leather (beyond the heel, the composition of which I am unsure) to the uppermost edge of the back of the boot measure 2.5". From the front edge of the toe to the uppermost edge of the front of the boot measures 4". The heel is approximately ½" in height. The narrowest portion of the sole is 1" and 1.5" at its widest.
*****Color: The color of the boots is somewhere in between the photos where the doll is wearing them in a combination of artificial and natural light and the other photos in which the boots appear lighter owing to sunlight. I would describe the color as a blue-grey.
*****Condition: Please note the leather is very worn and discolored. I've wiped the boots with a lightly dampened paper towel but have not endeavored to clean them as I will leave this up to the discretion of the new owner. Additionally, I am not certain as to how clean one can get these boots owing to their fragility and age. All buttons, which I believe to be glass, are intact. Please examine all photos carefully and do let me know if you would like more as I'll be happy to oblige.
